Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 7, 2026  ·  GuideMeTech, LLC
This policy applies to applications published by GuideMeTech, LLC on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

1. Who We Are

GuideMeTech, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") build mobile applications for shared family learning experiences. Our apps are designed for children aged 6 and above, used together with a parent or legal guardian.

Registered address: 1500 JFK BLVD, STE 1825, Philadelphia, PA 19102, United States
Privacy contact: outreach@guide-me.tech

For the purposes of the GDPR, we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Children's Privacy

Our apps are designed for children aged 6 and above, used under direct parental or guardian supervision. Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or older. Children do not create accounts independently.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parental consent is established through the account creation process: accounts are created using a parent's Google account or Apple ID, both of which require the account holder to be at least 13 years old under those platforms' own terms. We do not collect personal information directly from children — the only data generated by a child's use of the app is the learning activity data described in Section 3, which is associated with the parent's account.

Parents and guardians may at any time review, correct, or request deletion of the data associated with their account and their child's use. See the rights listed in Section 9, and our dedicated Data Deletion and Account Reset procedures.

If you believe a child has used our services without appropriate parental involvement, contact us at outreach@guide-me.tech and we will investigate and delete any affected data promptly.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the app. We do not collect device information, location data, financial information, or any sensitive personal information.

What Why How long
Account identifier The email address or Apple Private Relay address provided by Google or Apple when the parent creates an account. Required to authenticate the account and process deletion or reset requests. Life of the account, plus up to 30 days after deletion
Learner name An optional display name entered by the parent. May be a real name, a nickname, or any placeholder. Not verified and not linked to any external identity. Life of the account, or until removed on request
Learner activity The data generated by the child's use of the app (such as current learning objective and the progress towards an objective) is retained for the duration of the account to resume the learning activity across multiple sessions and devices. Life of the account; cleared on account reset
Parent input Short optional text descriptions entered by a parent to personalise learning content for a fixed set of trials within a session. Descriptions pass through an automated content safety classifier before use. They are then anonymized and used for a fixed set of trials. Not retained as account data
Server logs Standard infrastructure logs that may include IP addresses, request timestamps, and status codes. Used for security monitoring and operational diagnostics only. Cannot be associated with individual accounts or learners. 90 days

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose. Data is shared only with the processors listed below, solely to operate the service, and under data processing agreements that bind them to our instructions.

5. Parent input

This anonymized extraction of text contains no information that could link to an individual. This text extract is retained to improve the quality of our service. This data is not personal data under any applicable privacy framework and is not subject to individual data rights requests. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose unrelated to the app.

6. Security

All data transmitted between our apps and our servers is encrypted in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled entirely by Google and Apple — we never receive or store your Google or Apple credentials. Access to personal data within our systems is restricted to personnel who require it to operate the service.

7. Google Play Families Policy
